4 days and counting!

Now does it look or feel like we have only four days until we open?  No!  But if anyone is up to the challenge its us.  Thats what we do best.  That being said, it certianly doesn’t mean we do it without a little bit of drama.  That is what always leads us back to our quote above.  Whew, what a journey.

But after we have made the stressful decisions of where to put the black baskets and which mirror to go in the bathroom, we are able to relax and enjoy the fire, electrical, and building inspections.. Ummm right?  Keep your fingers crossed for us, we are almost there.  Its going to be great and we cant wait for you to come over, take it all in, and have a seat.  Or not, we are still looking for those!!

Construction Phase 2

Things are really coming along.  This weekend we exploded into the space and got a ton of work done.  The bathroom renovation went fantastic, and who knew installing a changing room curtain rack would be so satisfying?  There was a ton of help from Nicole’s dad, Pete and Liz’s dad, Ed. 
We have vowed to never paint again.
1910 is starting to look like a real studio, with a vision of our up and coming move
on July 20th !

It will be a slightly quiet move just trying to get over there and settle in for the rest of July and early August, but there will be a lot of cheering, new classes, and celebrating come early September!!

Nicole and Liz

Its almost done.

Whew! Its almost done, okay a HUGE almost.
We still have carpet, floors, paint, fans, bathroom, mirrors…….agh. Good thing we have the heavy artillery coming in next week. Enter Liz and Nicole’s very helpful, hardworking parents! Man, we couldn’t do it without them and the list of todos is crazy long!
Thanks to everyone for all the support and excitement along the way. Its going to be beautiful.
